We are a benevolent nonprofit organization that believes in making our communities a better place. We are the owners and operators of the I.O.O.F. Event Center. It has always been our goal to do benevolent work in our communities in an effort to elevate the character of humanity. Former Children’s Home – Gets New Lease on Life

A children’s home was established in 1885 on 200 acres of land in Corsicana. It reached a peak population of over 400 children during the Depression years of the 1930′s when the home had its own school district, football team, baseball team, and band. The number of children steadily declined until 1990 when the home was closed. We are proud of the work we did in providing homes for children and in converting orphans into leaders of our communities and state.

Administration Offices

The property has been repurposed and a large portion of the land was donated to the City of Corsicana for a public park and soccer field known as I.O.O.F. Park. The land where the school’s administration and dormitories were located was renovated in 2011. The old school’s administration building is currently the new offices for the administration and management of the day to day operation of our non-profit organization.

I.O.O.F. Event Center

The crowning jewel of the renovation project is the addition of a beautiful state of the art 20,000 square foot Event Center. This is a for profit center available for rent by the public.
